Welcome House of South County Celebrates Addition of New Housing Program

The Welcome House of South County celebrated the addition of their newest housing program, Parkside, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday.

Parkside is Welcome House’s newest emergency/transitional housing program, that will provide accommodations for formerly homeless expectant mothers and women with children under the age of five years old.

Guests have their own bedroom and share two full bathrooms, as well as the common space of a dining room, living room, playroom, and kitchen.

They also have the support of an on-site counselor offering access to tools for empowerment and opportunities to promote financial stability.
