Seth Magaziner’s fundraising also fell -- but not as significantly for the quarter -- from just under $272,000 to $253,000.
Magaziner previously loaned his campaign $800,000 in the 2014 campaign and is refusing to disclose what was the source of those funds. His campaign still has an outstanding loan to back to Magaziner of more than $700,000.
At the time of the loan, Magaziner had only had two jobs after he graduated college -- and fewer than five years of work experience.
Matt Brown, the former RI Secretary of the State who announced his candidacy with just two weeks in the quarter raised approximately half the amount of McKee and Gorbea. Brown is refusing donations from corporate PACs, corporate lobbyists, or donors tied to the fossil fuel industry.
