Loughlin Ready to Challenge Democratic Winner

Polls for the primary are still hours away from closing, yet Republican John Loughlin is already ramping up his post-primary campaign against whoever becomes his Democratic opponent in the First Congressional District.

Loughlin will hold a press conference 1:30 p.m. tomorrow to discuss the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts and urge the Democratic nominee to oppose any tax increases for Rhode Islanders. The event will be held in front of the state Division of Taxation on 1 Capitol Hill in Providence.
