All the campaign finance reports aren't in yet, but here is a peak into the piles of reports. Which college president gave to who? Which mayor broke with his party and gave across the aisle? Some interesting surprises.
Some of the second quarter campaign finance reports were posted over the weekend and GoLocalProv has some interesting insights.
Lincoln Chafee - Independent for Governor

Former State Representative and member of the Bush administration, Brock Bierman, $250
Gilbane Building Executive Paul Choquette, $150
WBRU Executive, James Corwin in for $100
Dimeo Contruction Executive, Paul Dimeo, $250

Former Carcieri chief of staff, Jeff Grybowski, $250
Leonides Raptakis - Democrat for Secretary of State
Raptakis has a cadre of donors, including a couple of his former colleages in the Senate:

Georgia State Representative Mike Cheokas has donated $250
Former RI Secretary of State and AARP leader Kathy Connell, $50
Former Providence City Councilman and State Senator David Igliozzi, $100
Retiring State Senator J. Michael Lenihan, through his Senate Committee donated $500
Kerry King - Republican for General Treasurer
Amazingly of King's 30 donations, 15 were reported to be from RETIREES. His donation from individuals totaled $15,600 for the quarter, from just 30 donations:

Providence Lawyer, Girard Visconti, $300
Christopher Little - Moderate for Attorney General
His campaign report shows checks form a range of former politicians and staff of his law firm, including:
Trudy Coxe - former Save the Bay boss and now head of the Preservation Society of Newport County (candidate for US Congress), $500
South County Hospital President, Louis Giancola, who put forth $200
Bryant University President Ronald Machtley, (former US Congressman and candidate for Governor) who donated $450
Joseph R. Paolino (the former Mayor's Dad), and boss of the Paolino real estate group, $250
