Taiwan Diplomat Hsu to Speak at Prov Committee on Foreign Relations Meeting

Taiwan Diplomat Douglas Hsu will speak at the final Providence Committee on Foreign Relations meeting of the season.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 4 at the Hope Club in Providence.

Drinks begin at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served around 6:45 p.m.

The new season will open in September.

About Hsu

Hsu is a senior diplomat who currently oversees Taiwan’s interests in New England as director general of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston.

Hsu previously served two stints in Washington D.C.

His work in Washington included being Taiwan’s liaison with Congress.

Hsu earned a B.A. and M.A. in International Relations from National Cheng-Chi University and has participated in the Diplomats Training Program at Oxford University (1998) and the Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard University (2009).
