7 Reasons To Be Excited About The Celtics Season

The Boston Celtics tip off their 2014-2015 season Wednesday Night at the TD Garden as they host former Celtic Kevin Garnett and the Brooklyn Nets. Tip off for tonights game is set for 7:30pm.

The Celtics are coming off a season where they went 25-57 under rookie Head Coach Brad Stevens and come into this season with some new faces and young talent including draft picks Marcus Smart and James Young. Brad Stevens, in his second year, has a team that is much more of his own as opposed to a team that he, for the most part, inherited last season.

With the talent and depth the Celtics have on this roster and the poor quality of the Eastern Conference, it is very realistic that Boston could get back into the playoffs as a seven or eight seed this year. This would be a big step forward in the rebuilding process and maybe it would be enough to convince Rajon Rondo to resign.
