Brown Falls to 0-5 Against D-I Teams, and Bryant Blown Out by Xavier

It was a tough Friday afternoon for the men’s basketball teams at Brown and Bryant.

Brown fell to 1-5 on the season (0-5 against D-I teams) with a 67-59 loss to the University of Delaware in the Bahamas.

Brown led at the half 31-30 but could not hold on for the win.

Kino Lilly, Jr. led the Bears with 22 points.

 

Bryant Goes Down

Bryant fell to Xavier, 100-75, on Friday afternoon at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati.

With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 3-4 overall on the season. The Bulldogs are back in action on Monday night when they host Springfield College at the Chace Athletic Center.

Sherif Gross-Bullock led three Bulldogs in double figures with 19, while Rafael Pinzon added 18 and Doug Edert chipped in 13. Connor Withers enjoyed a strong all-around game, finishing with seven points, eight rebounds and five assists.
