Josh Fortune to Transfer Out of PC

Providence College sophomore guard Josh Fortune will transfer and continue his college basketball career elsewhere, PC announced today in a statement.

Fortune made big strides this season as a player and averaged 8.4 points per game.  He was forced into a lot more playing time than expected due to the Friars' injuries and suspensions, and Fortune finished the year averaging 33 minutes per game.

Neither Fortune nor PC head coach Ed Cooley did not make a public comment in the statement released by the school.
