NEW: Boston Bruins to Play Exhibition Game in Providence

The Boston Bruins have released their pre season schedule for the start of the 2015-16 season and will play their first pre season game at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center on Sunday, September 20 at 7 p.m. against the New Jersey Devils.

Here is the full Bruins exhibition schedule:

SUNDAY, SEPT. 20 -- vs. Devils at Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, 7 p.m.
TUESDAY, SEPT. 22 -- vs. Capitals, 7 p.m.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 24 -- vs. Rangers, 7 p.m.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 26 -- at Red Wings, 7 p.m.
MONDAY, SEPT. 28 -- vs. Red Wings, 7 p.m.
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 30 -- at Rangers, 7 p.m.
FRIDAY, OCT. 2 -- at Capitals, 7 p.m.

Off-Season

Next up on the off-season agenda  for the Bruins and the rest of the NHL is the NHL Draft which is set to take place on June 26-27 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.

Boston holds the 14th pick in the draft.

New Era

The Bruins missed the playoffs in the 2014-15 season and head into 15-16 with Don Sweeney as their new general manager after relieving Peter Chiarelli of his duties.

Claude Julian remains behind the bench for Boston.

The NHL’s regular season schedule will be released within the next couple of weeks.
