According to the rules of the CBA, the NFL now has ten days to name an arbitrator and schedule the hearing. The date of the hearing can be pushed back if both sides agree.

Roger Goodell could also hear the appeal himself as that falls under his jurisdiction.

Patriots Fight Back

This appeal comes a couple of hours after the Patriots released a rebuttal to the Wells Report which challenged just about every finding.

While Brady's appeal is now official, the Patriots have until Monday to appeal the $1 million fine and the loss of two draft picks, including a 2016 first round pick.
