It is official.

The New England Patriots will host the Tennessee Titans in the Wild Card round on Saturday night, January 4 at Gillette Stadium, the NFL announced late Sunday night.

The Wild Card matchup marks the return of several former Patriots including cornerback Logan Ryan, running back Dion Lewis and former New England linebacker and current Titans head coach Mike Vrabel.

"I haven't had a paycheck with a Patriots logo on it since 2008. So no different than going and coaching against someone with the Texans or coaching against them last year. It's a huge challenge to go up there and try to win,” said Vrabel in his press conference after the Titans beat the Texans to clinch a playoff berth.

Kick-off is set for 8:15 p.m.

Patriots vs Titans

Saturday night will be the 44th meeting all-time between the Patriots and Titans, with New England leading the series 25-17-1.

The last meeting between the two teams came last season when Tennessee blew out New England 34-10 at home.

The last playoff meeting between the two came in January of 2018  when the Patriots cruised past the Titans 35-14 at Gillette Stadium.
