Gordon With Patriots
In six games with the Patriots in 2019, Gordon has hauled in 20 passes for 287 yards and one touchdown.
However, Gordon suffered a knee injury in New England’s week six game against the New York Giants.
He then missed the Patriots week seven matchup with the Jets before being placed on injured reserve.
Last season with the Patriots, Gordon caught 40 passes for 720 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games before being suspended by the NFL.
Gordon’s Troubles
This suspension by the NFL is just the latest in a long list of off-field issues that Gordon has had throughout his career.
Gordon has been suspended five different times since his 2012 rookie season for substance abuse.
He was suspended for the entire 2015 and 2016 seasons, and sat out the first 11 games of the 2017 season while with the Cleveland Browns.
He then missed the first three weeks of training camp in the summer of 2018 to undergo counseling and treatment.
He was then released by Cleveland and picked up by the Patriots.
While with the Patriots, Gordon was suspended in December of 2018 for violating the terms of the league’s substance-abuse policy.
He was reinstated by the NFL late in training camp and returned to the Patriots.
