Red Sox Mookie Betts Makes Unbelievable Catch

Justin Masterson

Masterson is coming off an atrocious 2014 season. However, his 2013 campaign was ace-like. Look for Masterson to bounce back at the tail end of the Boston Red Sox rotation. By All-Star break, he could be the #2 on the staff behind Rick Porcello.

Mike Zunino

Zunino has 20+ home run power. Now with Nelson Cruz in the fold, Zunino has protection all around. Opposing pitchers have no decision but to deal to him. Look for 30+ home runs in 2015. He won't ever hit for average, but at the catcher position he will provide a good amount of offense.

Mike Minor

Minor is staring the year on the DL, almost for sure. But he's legit. He started 25 games last season and was clearly hurt. He had a great 2013 season with a 3.21 ERA and 1.09 WHIP. Once he's back from the DL, look for him to return to his 2013 form.

Jason Kipnis

Kipnis is something of an anamoly. He missed 33 games last season and was clearly hurt all year. If he can repeat his 2012 and 2013 number, you can expect 15 home runs and 80 RBIs.

Neftali Feliz

Neftali Feliz had Tommy John surgery but managed to come back at the end of the year last season. Needless to say, he was knocked around. However, he's back as the Rangers closer. The 2012 experiment with Feliz as a starter completely backfired for Texas. Look for Feliz to rebound as the Rangers closer with 30 plus saves.

Jake Odorizzi

Odorizzi is not exactly a sleeper. He's got the talent to take the Rays to the win column every time he starts. But he has little experience under his belt. The Rays have arguably the best rotation in the AL East and Odorizzi is a future ace in the #3 slot. He won 11 games in 2014 for a putrid 4th place Rays team.

Jeremy Hellickson

Hellickson is a former Rookie of the Year. He dominated in the AL East. But then he leveled off last season. However, now with the Arizona Diamondback, Hellickson should thrive. Look for him in National League Cy Young discussion for the (GoLocal predicting) NL wildcard winning D-Backs.

Lucas Duda

Finally the proverbial monkey (Ike Davis) is off his back, Duda will club 25 homeruns this season. GoLocal's best bet : .275/30/105 for Duda. He's finally given the opportunity to make his mark in the Big Apple.

Alcides Escobar

Escobar had a career-worst 2013 season. Of course that was the year that everyone predicted he would have a career best. When the pressure was off, Escobar hit nearly .300 and stole 31 bases. Look for him to be even more comfortable and in the Top 5 American League shortstops in 2015. Last season he batted 20 points higher than his career average. Look for that trend to continue.

Mike Napoli

Napoli had the sleep apnea surgery he needed so badly. He might hit 25 to 30 homeruns while driving in 90 to 100 RBIs now that he feels healthy. Napoli also loves playing in Boston, and with the new offensive power all around him, he will be free to swing away.
