Former Red Sox Quintin Berry's Home Run Ejection

Berry slides into home.
Quintin Berry wasn’t a huge part of the Red Sox 2013 World Series winning team, but he did steal a base in his lone appearance of the 2013 postseason.

Berry’s in the news today as a member of the Baltimore Orioles Triple A team, the Norfolk Tide.

In the 9th inning of a close game, Berry hit a single to left field to bring the tying run to the plate.  Before the next hitter could step into the batter’s box, Berry was arguing with an umpire over by first base.

Berry was ejected, but elected to go out by “touching them all,” rounding the bases and sliding into home plate before storming off the field and into the clubhouse.
