Red Sox to be “Arraigned” — For Crimes Against New England, Tweets MA District Attorney

The weather in New England is scorching, but the Boston Red Sox are certainly not hot at the moment. 

They had a promising June — going 20-6 — but hit the skids in July, going 5-14 so far. 

The Toronto Blue Jays beat the storied Boston club 28-5 on Friday night besting franchise records for both teams for runs scored and allowed.

It’s not often law enforcement enters the sports arena — even to make a joke — but Massachusetts Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III did just that over the weekend.

“Breaking: The Red Sox will be arraigned Monday morning in Fall River District Court for crimes against all of New England,” Quinn Tweeted.

No word of the Sox’ defense.
