Revolution Earn 2-2 Tie With Chicago

The New England Revolution (7-9-7) played to a 2-2 tie with the (5-11-4) Chicago Fire on Saturday night in Chicago. 

New England trailed the match 2-1 late int he second half  after Chicago's Razvan Cocis picked up a rebound and fired it into the back of the net in the 75th minute. 

However, just two minutes later, New England's Kelyn Rowe found the back of the net off a pass by Chris Tierney to tie the match at two.

The Revolution and Fire were tied at one after the first half of play. Chicago's Shaun Maloney tied the match on a penalty kick after Lee Nguyen put the Revs up 1-0 in the 28th minute. 

New England returns to action on Saturday, August 1 when they host Toronto FC at Gillette Stadium. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
