URI Has Given up Nearly 200 Points in the Last Two Drubbings

The University of Rhode Island played at #22 ranked University of Dayton on Saturday afternoon and lost 96-62.

It wasn’t that close.

 

For the second consecutive game, the Rams surrendered nearly 100 points.

 

On Wednesday, the Rams gave up 99 points to St. Bonaventure -- losing 99-64.

 

On Saturday, the Rams shot 40% from the field, and the Flyers shot 59%.

 

URI’s Jaden House scored 27 points, nearly half the Rams' points. No other Ram scored in double figures.

 

The rest of the team was a combined 12 of 39 - 30% form the field.

 

The Flyers recorded 24 assists, the Rams just 8.

 

URI falls to 9-9 and 3-2 in the A-10, while the Flyers improve to 15-2 and 5-0 in the conference.
