Warwick North's Little League World Series Game Postponed to Tuesday

Warwick North Little League's game originally scheduled for today has been postponed to Tuesday at 3 p.m. due to a rain washing out the entire slate of Sunday games. 

Warwick is still awaiting the loser of the Kentucky-Iowa game. 

The day off means that Warwick North's top pitcher Colin Lemieux will have had the mandatory two days of rest and will be available to pitch in the game.

Staying Alive 

Warwick advanced in the Little League World Series after defeating Oregon 8-0 on Saturday afternoon to avoid elimination. 

Warwick North got on the board in the bottom of the 2nd inning when Domenic Brazeau hit a single to left with the bases loaded to give Warwick a 1-0 lead. The hit made Brazeau 4 for 4 in the Little League World Series. 

Warwick added a second run a wild pitch to go up 2-0 after 2 innings of play. 

In the 4th, Warwick blew the game open after a Colin Lemieux's RBI single was followed by a Kenny Rix three run home run to left center, giving Warwick a 6-0 lead. 

Warwick added two more runs in the bottom of the 5th to go up 8-0.
