Warwick North Falls to New York in Little League World Series Opener

Warwick North Little League fell 7-2 to New York's Maine-Edwell Little League in their first game of the Little League World Series on Thursday afternoon in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. 

Warwick North now faces elimination on Saturday.

Maine-Edwell Little League  got on the board in the first inning after Michael Mancini and Jude Abbadessa started things with back to back base hits, setting up a 3-run home run by Ryan Harlost to put New York up 3-0 

In the second inning, Maine-Edwell came back for more and it was the same players as Jude Abbadessa hit a two run, two out single to left putting the Mid-Atlantic champs up 5-0.

Harlost came up next and hit a line drive into the corner for an RBI triple to give them a 6-0 lead in the second inning. 

New York would add a run in the fourth inning to go up 7-0 and start their Little League World Series off with a win. 

Warwick North would add two runs in the 6th but would fall 7-2
