WooSox to “Pay Homage” to PawSox in July — Here’s How

The WooSox are planning to “pay homage” to the Pawtucket Red Sox in July.  

The “honorees" will include the Rhode Island Foundation — and more. 

The Worcester team began play in Massachusetts in 2021, after the PawSox ownership opted to move the team north.

According to the WooSox, “PawSox Heritage Day’ is scheduled for Saturday, July 9. 

“WooSox will wear PawSox hats and jerseys; ceremonies will honor Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket, Rhode Island Foundation, and Tomorrow Fund.”
