Brown Health Will Consolidate Its Administrative Offices to Former Hasbro Building in Providence
Hasbro left the building in 2024.
The building is assessed at $25 million and is recorded as being owned by a corporation in San Diego, CA, according to Providence tax records. The building was built in the 1980s for a regional office for AT&T.

“I’m excited to see this prominent Downtown location put to great use by Brown University Health,” said Mayor Brett P. Smiley. “This move will bring new vibrancy to LaSalle Square and preserve over 600 jobs in the city, further underscoring Providence as a dynamic economic hub.”
According to the company, "Administrative and corporate services functions will be consolidated from the Coro Building and current underused South Providence leased locations including 10 Davol Square, and Baker, Chapman, and Ellenfield Streets. Other administrative functions currently located in various hospital campuses may also be consolidated to the new administrative office over time. "
