Free Laptops for Small Businesses in Rhode Island

Does your small business need a laptop to get online? A new program is offering 500 computers to small businesses across the state.

On Wednesday, the state unveiled the Microsoft Small Business Laptop Program.

"Thanks to a generous donation from the Microsoft Corporation, RI Commerce in partnership with Social Enterprise Greenhouse (SEG), will be donating 500 laptops to Rhode Island small businesses," according to the announcement.

The devices will be allocated to those that best fit the application criteria. Applications are due on May 26, 2020.
