NEW: Historic Blackstone Boulevard Bridgham Estate Sold for $4 Million

Residential Properties LTD. announced Thursday that it has completed the sale of the William E. and Clara A. Bridgham Estate on the East Side of Providence for the price of $4,000,000.

The sales team of Markham + DeRentis Associates represented the sellers, while the buyer's agent was RPL Sales Associate Rebecca Rubin.

Last fall, neighbors had vigorously opposed a plan to divide the lot into 12 parcels for sale

The estate is located on 460 Rochambeau Avenue and is set on almost four acres of property bordered by Cole Avenue to the west, Rochambeau Avenue to the South, and Blackstone Boulevard to the east. 

The estate, designed in 1915, consists of over 9,400 square feet of living space on two levels and also features a two story carriage house with an attached greenhouse and second floor apartment. The estate also features of terraced gardens, fountains, a maze hedge, grape arbor, and a scandinavian inspired garden hut that was built in 1937.
