Prov Public Library to Host Free Small Business Workshop

The Providence Public Library (PPL) is set to offer a free small business workshop series in partnership with RI SCORE.

The series kicks off on Saturday, March 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Library’s Seminar Room.

The series will run through April 25.

Small Business Workshop Series

The series will give those interested in starting their own business a chance to understand the basics during the free information sessions.

RI SCORE counselors will present and discuss the various aspects of planning and owning a business. 

PPL staff will discuss print and electronic resources available at the Library to research your business and marketing plan.

Apr 11 — Show Me the Money Part 2 - Accounting for the Small Business  

Apr 18 — Discovering Your Business Model Part 1 - Starting Your Business Plan

Apr 25 — Discovering Your Business Model Part 2- Finalizing Your Business Plan
