Schilling Stunned Corso Not Charged Criminally, Says He Does Not Owe RI Apology

Curt Schilling
Curt Schilling said he was stunned that Gordon Fox's crony and 38 Studios consultant Mike Corso was not charged criminally.

In addition, Schilling said he does not owe Rhode Island an apology. During a radio interview on Tuesday, Schilling made the statement in response to Governor Gina Raimondo’s call for Schilling to apologize.

He went on to attack Raimondo for her performance managing the state’s pension fund as General Treasurer.

Michael Corso, Schilling shocked he was not charged criminally
Schilling was an all-star pitcher before founding the 38 Studios gaming company. Since the bankruptcy of the company, he has faced ongoing litigation relating to the failure of 38 Studios, and was an analyst for ESPN. He and other state defendants recently settled for $2.5 million with the State of Rhode Island.

Schilling was suspended once and ultimately fired by ESPN for "inappropriate" tweets. Schilling tweeted, "It's said only 5-10% of Muslims are extremists. In 1940, only 7% of Germans were Nazis. How'd that go?" He was suspended for the tweet.

The tweet, “Let him in to the restroom with your daughter or else you’re a narrow-minded, judgmental, unloving racist bigot who needs to die,”  Schilling was fired for that tweet.

Schilling's comments today were made during an appearance on John DePetro’s radio show on WPRO AM.
