Harry Potter Butter Beer & Hufflepuff Cocktails - Here’s Where to Get Specialty Drinks for PPAC Show

"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is currently playing at PPAC through October 4th - and one Providence restaurant has gone all in on theatrical-themed drinks. 

The George, located on Washington Street, has announced a number of libations based on the books, including the following: 

• Butter Beer Martini: Vanilla vodka, butter Schnapps, Kahlua, espresso, heavy cream
• Gryffindor: Titos Vodka, triple sec, strawberry puree, fresh lemon
• Slytherin: Rhodium gin, Midori, fresh lime, “slash” of tonic
• Ravenclaw: Espolon tequila, blue curacao, fresh lemon and lime, and simple syrup
• Hufflepuff: Jack Honey whiskey, triple sec, fresh lemon, honey, splash of hard cider

“At The George, we know how much people cherish the Harry Potter experience, so we created signature themed drinks to add to the excitement,” owner Alex Tomasso told GoLocal.

“Everyone loves to enjoy dinner before a show, and we wanted to make sure this time feels extra special,” he added. “We might be biased but there’s no better spot than The George to start the evening."

And Tomasso noted all can be made “spirit-free."

“Looking forward to our guests coming to drink these magical Hogwarts-inspired potions,” said Tomasso. “And all of these can also be enjoyed as a mocktail.”
