CharterCARE Provider Group of RI Awarded Elite Status on America's Physician Group Survey

CharterCARE provider Group of Rhode Island has been awarded Elite Status on the America’s Physician Group 2018 Standards of Excellence survey.

This is the third straight year that they have received this award.

“Working with local Medicare Advantage, commercial, Medicaid and exchange plans, CPGRI and the CharterCARE system are dedicated to demonstrating how coordinated care can benefit patients in Rhode Island in terms of better outcomes, better quality, and a better healthcare experience,” says CharterCARE in their press release.

The Survey

The annual APG survey is offered to more than 300 APG members in 43 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

This year, 122 medical groups, health systems, and IPAs participated in the voluntary survey, covering 12.9 million commercial lives, 3.2 million Medicare Advantage lives, and 3.7 Medicaid lives.

Participants earn their survey rankings based on their performance in delivering risk-based, coordinated care. Elite Status is the highest recognition awarded by APG.
