Ebola Virus Resurfaces in Liberia

After nearly two months since the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Liberia Ebola free, new cases of the virus have been confirmed.

The Ebola epidemic had peaked and steadily faded in the West African Region to the point where on May 9 of this year, the WHO declared the Ebola outbreak "over" in Liberia. However this past week two new cases of the Ebola virus have surfaced leaving a 17 year old boy dead.
