Pawtucket Arts Festival
The Pawtucket Arts Festival in Bristol kicks off on Friday and runs until September 25, but there is nothing like opening day.
The festival celebrates creative and cultural life in the City of Pawtucket by presenting vibrant arts events during the month of September for resident audiences and for visitors to the City and the Blackstone River Valley.

Bring Your Own Improv Family Friendly Comedy Show
Bring Your Own Improv is in it's 9th season at the Warwick Museum of Art. The show is an interactive show that is fun for the entire family and encourages audience participation.
The show goes from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors, military & Children 12 and under.

Food Truck Friday
It's Food Truck Fridayt at Roger Williams Park Zoo at Carousel Village from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Enjoy great food, live music and a beer garden tonight and every Friday until October 28.
The event is free to attend, but there are nominal fees to ride the carousel, participate in pony rides, or to enjoy the bounce house.

Body Worlds Vital at RI Convention Center
BODY WORLDS Vital celebrates the potential of the human body and the body in motion. Featuring authentic human bodies, the exhibition shows the body in health, distress, and disease. These detailed anatomical studies, compositions, and representations allow visitors a penetrating gaze at what lies beneath the skin.

S.A.M. Fest at Slater Mill
S.A.M.Fest is historic Slater Mill’s FREE annual festival of music, film, art and making, food trucks & libations, under a tent in Hodgson Park on the lower Blackstone River in downtown Pawtucket

The Hop Street Farmers market takes place at Lippit Park starting at 9 a.m. on Saturdays.

POMHAM ROCKS LIGHTHOUSE TOURS
Enjoy the rich, historical sights of the upper reaches of Narragansett Bay and the Providence Harbor! This two-hour, narrated tour of the Fox Point Hurricane Barrier, the Providence Industrial Harbor and the Pomham Rocks Lighthouse is the ONLY Rhode Island tour to offer access onto the lighthouse grounds.

Sunday is the first day of the Providence Flea taking place on 345 South Water St. in Providence.

Cumberland Firefighters Touch a Truck at Diamond Hill State Park
The Cumberland Firefighters will host their touch-a-truck event on Sunday, August 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Diamond Hill State Park. Admission is FREE.
Tucks included in the event will be fire trucks, rescues, tow trucks, dump trucks and so many more.
