Stargazing Nights at Frosty Drew Observatory
Frosty Drew Observatory in Charlestown hosts Stargazing Nights and it is the place to be for all your astronomy needs. They are open every Friday night at 6 p.m. with live views of the night sky.
The observatory closes around midnight.
The cost is FREE.

Blackfriars Dance Concert
Guest and resident choreographers work with the PC Dance Company to present a performance of group and solo pieces emphasizing technical skill and conceptual variety.

Take a one hour tour aboard one of Save the Bay's education vessels as they cruise through Newport Harbor and take in 360 degree views of seals resting on Citing Rock off of Rose Island and the Newport Bridge.

Columbia vs. Brown Football at Brown Stadium
Brown football will play their final game of the season on Saturday when they host Columbia University at Brown Stadium at 12:30 p.m.
With a win, Brown would finish conference play with a winning record for the first time since 2012-13.
Prior to the start of the game, Brown will honor their 23 seniors.

This is the final weekend for East Bay Restaurant Week so be sure to get out and enjoy great restaurants for great prices.

The Providence College Friars men's basketball team is back home to host Grambling at the Dunkin' Donuts Center at noon time on Saturday.

Blithewold welcomes everyone to join them for their first-ever Winter Marketplace – where local traders, purveyors of goods, artisans and artists will be selling their works in the Mansion and outbuildings.
Enjoy a great day out with family and friends, and do some holiday shopping! Live music & cider will be served.
The marketplace is open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Food Truck Sunday Funday at The Hot Club
Head over to the Hot Club parking lot every Sunday as it is turned into a Food Truck Festival called "Food Truck Sunday Funday."
Each Sunday, there will be different themes and celebrations. Experience great local food trucks and live music. Enjoy local beer and a full bar, live music, and boat rides from Providence River Boat Company.
Food Truck Sunday Funday begins at 12:30 p.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m.

Santa Hustle Half Marathon & 5K
Take part in the first-ever Santa Hustle 5K & Half Marathon on Sunday at 7 a.m. on Memorial Blvd. in Newport.
The start and finish line location will be at Easton’s Beach.
Every participant will receive a Santa hat, beard and lightweight performance hoodie to wear while running.
