Federal Hill Food & History Tours
This Premiere Food Tour will take guests to must-see locations where they will be sampling Cheeses, Charcuterie, and Antipasti, while receiving a presentation on ingredients in the repertoire of Italian Cookery.
Guests will also learn food terminology, products information, how to shop, recipes, and anything that may be of interest.
Throughout the walking event, guests will meet the people who make it possible for Federal Hill to be recognized as a food and historical destination in the USA.
Tours begin at 9 a.m.

The 6Th Biennial Design Science Symposium: Inclusive Narratives From Nature at RISD
The Edna W. Lawrence Nature Lab at RISD, Fleet Library at RISD and Synergetics Collaborative announce the 6th Biennial Design Science Symposium: Inclusive Narratives from Nature, an event exploring multiple approaches to sustainable/nature-inspired making, community development, and other work that facilitates a holistic relationship with nature and natural systems.

Founded in 2009, StyleWeek Northeast (SWNE) is New England’s premier fashion week that is held in Providence, Rhode Island.

1st Annual Heroes Walk/Run at Warwick City Park
This superhero-themed event is going to be a fun, family-friendly event, with something for everyone! Funds raised during this event will be allocated towards our upcoming Wishes. There will be refreshments, food, games, and raffles for all throughout the event at our “Superhero Central”.
The run benefits A Wish Come True.

Ocean State Oyster Festival at River Walk Park
The 5th Annual Ocean State Oyster Festival features 18 Rhode Island oysters farms, live local music, craft beer, food trucks, shucking contest, and family fun on the boardwalk along the Providence River.

RI’s 41st Annual Heritage Day Festival at Pawtucket Armory Arts Center
The Rhode Island Historical Preservation and Heritage Commission will hold its 41st Annual Heritage Day Festival.
Some of the major highlights of the festival include a flag parade, cultural arts & crafts table displays, a multinational fashion show, a children’s craft area, and multicultural entertainment.

Bill Frisell at Greenwich Odeum
Described as being at the very epicenter of modern American Music" (BBC), Bill Frisell's career as a guitarist and composer has spanned more than 35 years and 250 recordings, including 40 of his own.
Frisell's recording catalog has been cited by Downbeat as "the best-recorded output of the decade," including his recent albums for Savoy -- Sign of Life with the 858 Quartet, Beautiful Dreamers with his trio, and All We Are Saying, a new collection of John Lennon interpretations.

Tours and Tastings at Sons of Liberty Distillery
For $10 you embark on a choose-your-own-adventure tasting that includes their internationally awarded spirits and an ever-changing list of cocktail sample options that are simply delicious.
Guided tours are given every hour on the half-hour starting at 1:30 where guests are walked through the process of making whiskey and what makes Sons of Liberty's so unique. Bring friends, family, or even first and second dates.

Kevin James at The Vets
Kevin James began his career as a stand-up on the Long Island comedy scene. After being discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival, he signed a network development deal to create his own sitcom.
The King of Queens, which premiered in 1998, ran for nine seasons on CBS and garnered James an Emmy nomination in 2006 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. James was the producer, co-writer, and star of the hit comedies Paul Blart: Mall Cop 1 & 2, Zookeeper, and Here Comes The Boom.

2nd Annual Ride & Drive at The Boathouse in Roger Williams Park
The event will take place in the u-shaped driveway at the Boathouse in Roger Williams Park. Local dealers will be invited to bring cars for EV enthusiasts to test drive and there will also be plenty of EV Ambassadors (EV owners) on-hand to answer any and all EV related questions.
In addition to the ride and drive, the event will have educational booths from all the offices.
There will also be we'll lawn games and more.
