Disclaimer: The foundation of this week's article was written by my mentor and the person I look to for leadership, business, and your basic "grinding it through life advice".

Bedros Keuilian is the founder of Fit Body Boot Camp and The Project. These two entities have helped me change the trajectory of my life and made me want to improve every facet of my existence consistently.
I received this email from him this week, and I wanted to share some powerful nuggets from the man who influences me and helps me grow, as these tips will also help you thrive.
As I said, the foundation of the article was written by Bedros. However, I added my two cents (in parenthesis)
He writes………..
It's easy to look around and compare our beginnings to someone else's highlight reel.
When I started out, social media wasn't around, so showcasing every success was only sometimes popping up with each scroll.
The way the game is shown has changed, but the levels to ascend have stayed the same.
This is why you can't compare your first-year results to someone else's ten years of work.
(Comparison is the thief of joy, especially when you don't know someone's story)
Understand this...
There are levels to this journey we're all on.
Each stage has its challenges, lessons, and triumphs. It's not just about reaching the peak.
It's about embracing and learning from the entire climb.
So here's what it takes to reach new peaks:
Pay your dues: Every step forward counts, no matter how small.
The groundwork you lay now is the foundation for your future.
(I tell myself this often, especially when I look at others' success. I always feel as if I am not doing enough, or success isn't coming fast enough for me, but then I realize that every small step today leads to greater success tomorrow)
Get your reps in: Practice makes progress.
Consistency is more than just a buzzword; it's the secret ingredient to mastery.
(This is why we need to take a step forward every day, regardless of how small)
Be consistent: Show up for yourself daily, even when the progress isn't immediately visible.
It's the daily efforts that compound over time.
(I do 1 thing daily that will move the needle forward in my business. It could be running an ad, making a sales call, or sending an email. I also understand that the payoff may not be immediate, and the return could be 6 months from now, but I make sure it will still net a positive return)
Stay focused: Keep your eyes on your goals, not on the sidelines.
Your journey is uniquely yours, and your focus should be on your path forward.
(Here's the deal… If everything is a priority, nothing is a priority. Be sure you are lining your sights on specific, not random goals, and avoid distractions at all costs)
Don't quit: The road to success is paved with challenges.
It's those who persevere through adversity who emerge stronger and more capable.
(Every day, we decide to either quit or become a warrior. Some things will take longer than others, but quitting will NEVER expedite the process. Embrace the pain, and keep charging)
Your journey is yours alone. The successes and setbacks you encounter in your first year lay the groundwork for your future achievements.
Each step, no matter how small it seems, is a crucial part of your journey.
Let's celebrate our progress, learn from our challenges, and keep pushing forward with resilience and determination.
Always rooting for your success,
Bedros Keuilian
I hope this article resonates with you as much as it did with me. I found it inspiring and validating: Regardless of our interpretation of success, if we put in the work, be consistent, and adopt the "never quit" mindset, we are all destined to find our own success.
