Clingstone House

The house was built in 1905 and sits atop a rocky island in an island group called “The Dumplings.”

It was originally designed by Philadelphia’s  J. S. Lovering Wharton and artist William Trost Richards, and consists of three stories, 23-rooms, and 10,000 square feet.

The name "Clingstone" was suggested by a remark that it was "a peach of a house.”
