NewportFILM to Hold Screening of "The Search For Freedom"

The Search For Freedom
The Search For Freedom is a story that is told through the eyes of a group of people who helped to create cultural phenomenons. The movie is about the freedom that is accessible to everyone, the freedom that comes from living in the moment and doing what makes people feel the most alive.
The film will feature action sports legends such as Tony Hawk, Kelly Slater and Warren Miller, among many others.
The venue will feature a cash bar and food for purchase while viewers are encouraged to bring their own chairs and/or blankets, as seating is on the grass
In case of rain, the film will be shown at the Jane Pickens Theater at 49 Touro Street.
Fort Adams State Park is currently playing host to the Volvo Ocean Race and their Newport stop-over. The Volvo Ocean race boats, the Volvo Ocean 65s, have been in Newport since May 5 and will depart for Lisbon on May 17.
The overall leader of the race is Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing.
