RI Philharmonic to Play 4 Free Summer Concerts

RI Philharmonic to play 4 concerts this summer
The Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra will play four Summer Pops concerts across Rhode Island. 

The concerts will be conducted by Francisco Noya and they will be free of charge and open to the public. 

The program includes music from Leonard Bernstein, John Philip Sousa, Peter Tchaikovsky, and Richard Rodgers as well as modern favorites from Star Trek, Batman and more.

Francisco Noya 

Noya has served as Resident Conductor of the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra for 20 seasons. As Resident Conductor, he conducts the Philharmonic’s annual Link Up! Education Concerts, Pops concerts, and Summer Pops concerts. 

Throughout the season, he serves as “cover” conductor and presents pre-concert talks for all Classical Series concerts

Sunday, September 3 • 6pm
