Slader Re-Elected as Chair of the RI State Council on Arts

Elizabeth Libby Slader of Narragansett was re-elected as the chair of the Rhode Island State Council on Arts, making her the leader of the 13 member governing board. 

"The work that RISCA does is so important to the quality of life for all Rhode Islanders. I am honored to be re-elected as Chairman and in this role I will do what I can to further advance arts and culture in the state," said Slader. 

Rumford's Jason Pamental and Jennifer Fonseca were also reelected as Vice Chairman and Secretary respectively.

Libby Slader 

Slader is an award winning designer who started her career in 1988. Since then, she has worked and lived in Boston, Los ANgeles, New York and Providence. In 2010, she started her own namesake firm that specializes in hospitality and collaborative office interiors. 

Prior to that she was an instructor in the Continuing Education department of the Rhode Island School of Design and is a co-founder of DesignxRI. 

Jason Pamental 

Jason Pamental
Pamental has worked on the web since 1994 and has led creative and technical teams for the NFL and America's Cup teams, Fortune 25 and technology corporations. 

Most recently, he has taken on  the role of Senior Director of Design & Technical Strategy at Isovera.  

Jennifer Fonseca 

Jennifer Fonseca
Fonseca serves as the Marketing Director and Business Development Manager at DBVW Architects, a 32 person architecture, interiors, and planning firm in Providence. 

In addition to her position on the Rhode Island State Council on Arts, Fonseca serves as a member on the East Providence Arts Council.
