The final installment is Friday April 24 with guests Liz Isenberg, Allysen Callery and Math the Band along with the BIG NAZO Intergalactic Creature Band. Jocie Adams of Arc Iris
Aurora was filled to capacity last Friday to hear Arc Iris and friends play as part of the Zoetical Festival. Multi-instrumentalist and singer Jocie Adams led the band through a fun filled set of music decked out in her golden space diva bodysuit.
Death Vessel
Joel Thibodeau, leader of Death Vessel opened the evening. The performance was simply mesmerizing. His indie-folk sound can be found on the band's 2014 release Island Intervals.
Monsters and Aliens
There have several widely reported visits from monsters and aliens at the Zoetical festival. The creatures of Big Nazo were in the house throughout the evening. The mothership has indeed landed.
Cellist Robin Ryczek
Cellist Robin Ryczek brings her classical training to the eclectic mix that is Arc Iris.
Allysen Callery
Bristol singer-songwriter Allysen Callery joined Arc Iris during the Hunky Dory set, taking lead vocals on "Fill Your Heart." Callery will return to the stage for the final Zoetical show on April 24th. She expects to release a new album this summer.
Chris Daltry
Chris Daltry, leader of The 'Mericans joined Arc Iris for the classic Bowie tune "Andy Warhol." Check out his recent Tribute to Providence album here.
Crowd Favorite
Did we mention Big Nazo monsters were everywhere? They were a bit hit with those assembled.
Adams and Miller
Multi-instrumentalist Jocie Adams rocks on clarinet along with keyboardist Zach Miller. The band was also joined by Brian Webb, Courtney Swain, Roz Raskin and Emma Corbin.
Courtney Swain
Courtney Swain, of the band Bent Knee, entertained between sets on the "window" stage.
Thibodeau and Adams
