The weekend is here, but with the coronavirus crisis changing things drastically in Rhode Island, many typical activities — movies, shopping, dining out —  are curtailed.

With the CDC recommending social distancing — staying six feet away from another person — as the country continues to grapple with rising coronavirus numbers, there are still a number of things you can do with family and friends in the Ocean State.

The National Weather Service is calling for two “mostly sunny” days this weekend, with a high near 49 degrees on Saturday, and a high of 41 on Sunday, before periods of rain — and chances of snow — are in the forecast for next week.
