Hurricane Irma made its way through the Florida forcing 6.4 million to evacuate. Take a look at scenes throughout the region of the storm.

The storm left almost 4.5 million homes and businesses across Florida without power and more than 100,000 without power in Georgia. 

Utility officials say that it will take weeks to restore electricity to everyone.

"These are storms of catastrophic severity, and we're marshaling the full resources of the federal government to help our fellow Americans in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee and all of those wonderful places and states in harm's way," said President Donald Trump in a statement.
