Apply to Rhode Island College for Free on Friday

“Our mission is to make a high-quality four-year degree accessible to more Rhode Islanders and 'Apply to RIC for Free Day' is a way to remove one more barrier to entry,” says Dr. Jack R. Warner, RIC president.
“More students than ever before are looking at RIC as a first-choice institution because of our in-demand programs like nursing, computer science, and biotechnology, as well as the transformational opportunity to receive their final two years free under the Hope Scholarship. Waiving the application fee is a powerful incentive to help students make that decision easier and earlier," he added.

Application Process in Focus
Apply to RIC for Free Day applies to both undergraduate and graduate admissions. In addition to waiving the application fee on November 15, RIC Admissions staff will also assist students and families with the Common Application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students will receive a decision within two weeks.
Rhode Island College uses the online Common Application, which means students can begin filling out their applications in advance, save their progress, and then formally submit on November 15. Potential applicants can visit ric.edu/applyfree to get started or email [email protected] with questions.
