Bob Woodward, the legendary journalist, and author, will be the keynote speaker at the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council’s (RIPEC) 75th annual meeting.

The meeting will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018, at the Rhode Island Convention Center.

Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

About Woodward

Woodward is an associate editor of The Washington Post, where he has worked since 1971.

He has shared in two Pulitzer Prizes, first in 1973 for the coverage of the Watergate scandal with Carl Bernstein and second in 2003 as the lead reporter for coverage of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

He has authored or co-authored 18 best-selling non-fiction books. Twelve of those have been #1 national bestsellers.

His most recent book "Fear: Trump in the White House" will be released on September 11, 2018.

Woodward is expected to address the American/global economy and the American Presidency.
