Cranston Police Announce Arrest in Overnight Shooting Incident

Cranston Police have announced an arrest in a shooting incident overnight.

Micheal Mccombs, age 33, of 60 Chestnut Hill Avenue in Cranston is being arraigned Thursday morning. 

On Thursday, Cranston Police released the following.

We have arrested an individual in the shooting incident in Cranston last night on Dyer Avenue. 

He was arrested shortly after midnight and is being transported to Kent County Courthouse, Courtroom 2C, to be arraigned on Felony Assault, Possession of a firearm while committing a crime of violence and Carrying a firearm without a license. 

CPD said they plan to release more information on Thursday.
