Dept. of Justice Warns North Carolina Governor That 'Bathroom Bill' Violates Civil Rights

The U.S. Department of Justice warned North Carolina's governor that the newly passed state law limiting bathroom access is in violation of the U.S. Civil Rights Act. 

In March, North Carolina became the first state to pass legislation requiring transgender people to use bathrooms that correspond with their birth sex.
