About Incident
Shortly before 6 PM on Friday, police responded to Panera Bread at the mall for a report of a robbery.
Security officers told police the victim was assaulted by three suspects who had fled the scene.
The victim told police he standing outside the mall waiting for friends, when he was approached by the suspects who demanded his jacket.
He told police he tried to get away from the suspects by going inside the mall, at which time he was assaulted in front of the entrance to Panera, and during the altercation, a knife fell to the ground.
The suspects fled without the victim’s jacket.
