About Incident

According to the parents, their daughter had been riding a scooter on the sidewalk with her sibling when she was approached by a man she did not know.

Police said the suspect was described as a white male wearing all black, with a slim build and appeared to be in his 40s.

According to the parents, the man spoke softly to their daughter, asking her to go across the street with him.  He was reportedly an arm's length away but never touched the juvenile.

The child then ran to her mother, who then approached the man before he fled the scene.
