Homicide Suspect Should Be Considered “Armed and Dangerous," According to Providence Police

The prime suspect in the latest homicide in Providence should be considered “armed and dangerous,” according to police. 

On Saturday night, a 19-year-old man was shot and killed in Donigan Park in Olneyville in Providence.

On Monday, Providence Police released the following statement regarding the arrest warrant issued for the suspect.

Providence Police Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Kevin Giron (DOB 4-19-2004) related to the homicide that occurred over the weekend.  

At this time, the arrest warrant is for one count of murder with the possibility of additional charges forthcoming.  

Giron should be considered armed and dangerous.
