Providence Police Respond to Reports of Shots Fired - Find Bullet Holes in Car and Shell Casings
Providence police are investigating a report of shots fired in the West End of Providence on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, a car was found to have bullet holes in it — and multiple spent shell casings were located in the area.

About Incident
Shortly after 4 PM on Sunday, police responded to the 500 block of Cranston Street for the report of shots fired.
After speaking with witnesses, police canvassed the area of Bellevue and Cranston Streets in Providence, where they said they located multiple shell casings.
Police said they met with a woman in the area who said she had been in her car when she heard a loud bang.
Responding officrs said they found multiple bullet holes in her car.
Detectives are currently investigating.
