Police Investigating Multiple Reports of Car Break-Ins During During PC Game

A number of car break-ins were reported following the Providence College basketball game in the city on Tuesday night.

The vehicle damage and larcenies were reported in the vicinity of the Amica Mutual Pavillion (AMP) on West Exchange Street. 

According to police, a number of reports were from people who said they had parked on the street to attend the game.

When they left the game, they came out to find their vehicle windows smashed. 

Some people filing reports said that items were taken from their vehicles. 

Police say approximately 10-12 vehicles were hit. 

Detectives are currently investigating.
