RI Reports 956 New Coronavirus Cases, 8 Additional Deaths -- Watch Raimondo LIVE at 1 PM

There were eight additional fatalities, with the total number of deaths now at 1,678.

Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo and officials will be live at 1 PM on Tuesday for their weekly coronavirus press conference.

There are currently 440 hospitalizations, with 57 people in the ICU.
The state is now reporting vaccination numbers -- according to RIDOH, 6,400 people have been given the first dose of the vaccine so far.
