The Providence Board of Licenses is scheduled to meet Wednesday for a show cause hearing pertaining to the nightclub on Spruce Street — Seven — where Cabral and the suspects had been reportedly drinking prior to the attack.
The club has been closed following the attack; the hearing — or an appeal at the Department of Business Regulations — will determine whether the club will be allowed to reopen.
As GoLocal reported, the Federal Hill Commerce Association (FHCA) is demanding that the club be shut down.
Lapatin had addressed the press on the death of Cabral, after he, and those involved in the fatal incident, had the deadly altercation after going to Club Seven.
A GoFundMe for Cabral's funeral expenses has been established.
